Stingray ME 500ml

Stingray ME is a solvent free, water dilutable microemulsion concentrate combining the excellent killing power of alpha-cypermethrin, the knock-down of tetramethrin and the metabolic synergist piperonyl butoxide to combat any pyrethroid tolerance. In addition to this, Stingray ME also contains the powerful growth regulator (IGR) pyriproxifen.

Pyriproxifen works alongside the killing agent but demonstrates a different mode of action helping to prevent the onset of pesticide resistance. Mites not killed directly by the pesticide are affected by the IGR which prevents mites from successfully moulting and reaching sexual maturity, creating stasis in the population. Adult mites are sterilized and the mite population collapses, then crashes as no new nymphs are produced from the infertile eggs.

Stingray ME is especially recommended for use against red mite, where a special application regime of three treatements in rapid succession will provide fast and dramatic long-term control.
