Halamid is the universal eco-friendly, soluble powder biocide effective against bacteria, fungi, yeasts, algae, viruses and protozoa. For use in all animal housing systems (hen-houses, aquaria, pet-shops, for anglers, pigeon lofts, aviaries, transporters, etc.).
Halamid can be used as a dip, in a spray, in a pressure washer, or as a fog. If it is mixed with a foaming agent, then it can be foamed on. In all instances, maximum effect will be obtained on surfaces that have been previously cleaned with a foaming detergent/sanitiser.
Application rates:
General Disinfection Use at a rate of 1 part to 200 parts water (1kg in 200 litres)
High Risk Use at a rate of 1 part to 100 parts water (1kg in 100 litres)
Aerial Fogging Use at a rate of 1 part to 10 parts water (100g in 1 litre) Apply at a rate of 10ml solution per cubic metre of air space
Disinfecting Water Systems (birds out) 20 to 200 parts to 1,000,000 parts water (20 to 200g in 1,000 litres)
Sanitising Water Systems (birds in) 3 to 20 parts to 1,000,000 parts water (3 to 20g per 1,000 litres)
Hatching Eggs sanitisation Use at a rate of 1 part to 250 parts water (4g in 1 litre).
Halamid powder contains Sodium p-toluenesulfonchloramide.
